The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily field activities, ensuring quality construction of stick-frame and other assemblies, maintaining safety and schedule adherence, coordinating subcontractors and trades, and communicating effectively with project management and owners to deliver projects on time and within budget.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee day-to-day jobsite operations for multi-family, mixed-use, apartment, and higher education projects, with emphasis on stick-frame construction.\nManage and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and onsite labor to ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to quality standards.\nInterpret construction drawings, specifications, and schedules; ensure work is executed per plans and change orders are conveyed and implemented.\nMaintain project schedules, update progress reports, and proactively identify and resolve delays or bottlenecks.\nEnforce site safety programs, conduct safety meetings and inspections, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and company safety standards.\nPerform quality control inspections, address deficiencies promptly, and coordinate corrective actions with trades and project management.\nManage material deliveries and onsite logistics to minimize downtime and reduce waste or damage.\nCoordinate inspections and approvals with local building officials, third-party inspectors, and owner representatives.\nCommunicate regularly with project managers, superintendents on other phases, owners, and design teams to align expectations and resolve issues.\nMentor and develop field staff, provide performance feedback, and promote a collaborative, solution-oriented jobsite culture.\nQualifications\n5+ years as a Superintendent or similar onsite leadership role, with direct experience in multi-family, stick-frame, and apartment construction.\nExperience on mixed-use and higher education projects preferred.\nStrong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, means and methods for stick-frame construction, materials, and building systems.\nProven ability to manage schedules, read and interpret drawings, and coordinate multiple trades concurrently.\nDemonstrated commitment to jobsite safety, with OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills; ability to work with owners, architects, inspectors, and subcontractors.\nProficient with construction management software, scheduling tools, and mobile/site documentation practices.\nValid drivers license and reliable transportation; ability to travel between job sites as required.\nRelevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, CPR/First Aid) and a high school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or industry certifications a plus.\nIf you are a Superintendent with Multifamily experience, please apply today!\n\n#Enghp\nBenefits\nVacation/PTO\n\nMedical\n\nDental\n\nVision\n\n401k\n\nBonus\n\nFor this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
