This steady, hands-on position is vital to producing high-quality stone for major projects and ensuring operations run smoothly in the mill.\r\nScope & Responsibilities:\r\nOperate stone processing machinery and material/product handling equipment\r\nUse measuring instruments to ensure specifications of order\r\nDrill holes and cut profiles according to specifications\r\nShape, trim, or touch up rough materials\r\nLoad materials into production equipment\r\nInspect work for quality to meet industry standards\r\nMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work area\r\nPerform daily equipment checks and lubricate machines as needed\r\nSafely operate machinery around people, equipment, and stone\r\nPhysical Requirements:\r\nAbility to lift up to 60 lbs\r\nAbility to work a 40-hour work week, plus occasional mandatory overtime\r\nMust be able to read a tape measure\r\nMust be able to multi-task and work at a set pace to meet production goals\r\nAbility to follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA) guidelines and work safely\r\nExperience & Qualifications:\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\r\nSome work experience in farming, construction, manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus, but not required\r\nBasic computer skills or ability to learn company inventory tracking system\r\nSatisfactory background check and drug test\r\nPosition Details:\r\nJob Type: Full-Time\r\nStarting Pay: $19.00 per hour\r\nPre-scheduled Progression Raises\r\nAttendance Bonus: Additional $1.00 per hour\r\nIf 2nd Shift, Shift Premium: Additional $1.50 per hour\r\nWork Schedule:\r\n10-hour shifts Monday Thursday; 8-hour shifts Friday.\r\n1st shift: 5:00am - 3:30pm\r\n2nd shift: 3:30pm - 2:00am\r\nLocation: In-person, Oolitic, IN 47451\r\nMust be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work\r\nBenefits:\r\n401(k) Retirement Plan to help you grow long-term savings.\r\nTuition Reimbursement to support ongoing learning and career development.\r\nMedical, Dental & Vision Insurance to keep you and your family covered.
