{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"d0f2ded810f9b1b2b9e4d14a","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d0f2ded810f9b1b2b9e4d14a","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/d0f2ded810f9b1b2b9e4d14a","title":"Quality Technician","description":"As a Quality Technician for the organization, you will perform inspections of purchased materials and in-process items, identify and record inspection results, and perform other duties as documented in applicable procedures.\n\nHours: Monday – Friday, 7AM – 3:45PM\n\nIn the role of Quality Technician:\n\nYou will ensure custom components (sheet metal, molded plastic, printed circuit boards, & machined components) are suitable for use in production.\nYou will verify the conformance of in-process material when required.\nYou will accurately record inspection results in a timely manner to ensure materials are available for use.\nYou will strive to continually improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the inspection process.\nYou will develop/ update inspection procedures/ protocols to ensure they are in correct and current.\nYou will participate in root cause and problem-solving activities when requested.\nYou will participate in company audits (internal QMS audits) when requested.\n\nThe skills you need to succeed:\n\nYou must be able to work alone and as part of a team.\nYou must have the ability to use of a variety of mechanical gages and be well versed in GD&T/ blueprint reading.\nYou must be comfortable using or learning to use various software programs that are required to perform essential duties.\nYou must possess excellent communication abilities; written and verbal.\nYou must have the ability to multitask and change direction quickly while maintaining a positive attitude and disposition.\nYou must have a knowledge of electronics/ electrical products (cabling & printed circuit board assemblies).\nYou must have the ability to perform data analysis and root cause problem solving.\n\nEducation & experience of a successful candidate:\n\nRelated electronic, soldering or other appropriate experience preferred.\nIPC-610 certification preferred.\nUse of Lean/ Six Sigma tools preferred.\nProcess auditing skills & experience with ISO 9001 or 13485 desired.\n\nBenefits:\n\nHealth insurance (with low deductibles)\nDisability insurance\nLife insurance\nDental insurance\nVision insurance\n401K retirement plan\n401K match (after 1 year of service)\nPaid time off (PTO)\nTuition reimbursement\nFlexible medical and dependent care spending account\nFitness gym on site\nHealth wellness program with cash incentives\n\nNot sure you meet every qualification?
