What We NeedCorpay is currently looking to hire a Team Lead. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Schaumburg, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing Reservation Specialists during an assigned shift, ensuring all scheduled tasks and operational functions are completed accurately, on time, and in accordance with defined procedures.You will train, coach, and mentor team members to ensure productivity and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met or exceeded. This role requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to perform in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. You will report directly to the Senior Supervisor and regularly collaborate with supporting teams and departments.How We WorkAs a Team Lead, Corpay will set you up for success by providing:Assigned workspace in the Schaumburg, IL officeCompany-issued equipmentRole-specific trainingRole ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of the role will include:Assigning shift activities to Reservation SpecialistsEnsuring Reservation Specialists understand and acknowledge assigned tasksMaintaining and updating team schedules/rosters to reflect deviations and approved changesActing as the primary liaison between client duty managers and Reservation SpecialistsWorking closely with clients to meet operational requirementsCommunicating with internal departments and management to resolve issues and expedite workEnsuring alignment and clarity before communicating instructions or information to team membersMaintaining a positive, respectful, and professional team environmentReporting incidents formally and professionally to leadership and/or HRLeading shift resources efficiently to balance workloads and adjust priorities as neededMonitoring and reporting agent attendance, punctuality, breaks, and policy adherenceEnsuring all agents have access to required tools, systems, and resources per SOPsUtilizing tools and technology to process, track, and report transactionsPerforming all Reservation Specialist duties as needed, including: Booking and updating hotel accommodationsLast-minute hotel sourcingRate negotiationsCommunicating with hotels and ground transportation vendors via phone and emailAccurately documenting reservation data, approvals, and background informationSupporting Reservation Specialists with real-time guidance during shiftsExecuting hotel crew relocations and communicating with stakeholdersCompleting routine Team Lead reporting and agent assignmentsMonitoring team performance for evaluations, quality assurance, and training purposesProviding ongoing constructive and positive feedback to team membersMaintaining performance and core competency standardsAdvising leadership on opportunities for improvement with discretion and professionalismAdhering to all Corpay policies, rules, and regulationsAssisting with special projects and additional tasks as assignedQualifications & SkillsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 2+ years’ experience in a call center environmentMinimum 1+ year experience overseeing or leading a teamPrevious supervisory experience required (if not a TA Connections employee)Airline industry call center experience preferredStrong understanding of call center technology and client relationship best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detailStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to interact professionally with clients and partners via phone and electronic channelsStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skillsAbility to coach, manage, and provide feedback effectivelyFlexibility to adapt to changing schedules and customer needsProficient internet research skillsExperience with SABRE preferredAbility to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); MS Project preferredBenefits & PerksMedical, Dental & Vision benefits available the 1st month after hireAutomatic enrollment into our 401(k) plan (subject to eligibility requirements)Virtual fitness classes offered company-wideRobust PTO including holidays, vacation, sick, personal, and volunteer timeEmployee discounts (wireless, gym memberships, car rentals, and more)Philanthropic support at local and national levelsInclusive and engaging culture with company-wide contests and prizesEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action EmployerCorpay is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
