This role is responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for flat sheet and tube fabrication, including laser cutting, press brake operations, and other precision manufacturing processes.\nThe ideal candidate has experience with CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, and metal fabrication workflows, and enjoys working closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing efficiency.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nCAD/CAM Programmers are responsible for:\nCreating, modifying, and maintaining 2D and 3D CAD models, flat patterns, and CAM programs\nDeveloping and optimizing CNC programs for flat sheet and tube laser cutting, press brake operations, punching, and fabrication equipment\nProgramming using BySoft CAM, Fusion 360, AutoCAD, and SolidWorks\nInterpreting customer drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation\nCreating production-ready files including DXF, STEP (STP), and NC code\nCollaborating with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturability and product accuracy\nManaging program data within Global Shop Solutions (ERP) and utilizing Zumen for document control and revision management\nTroubleshooting programming, nesting, tooling, and machine compatibility issues\nSupporting continuous improvement initiatives by refining programming standards and manufacturing processes\nPerforming additional duties as assigned\nWhat We're Looking For\nMinimum 3 years of CAD/CAM programming experience in a metal fabrication environment\nProficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, and BySoft CAM\nExperience programming CNC laser cutting equipment (flat sheet and/or tube)\nKnowledge of press brake programming and fabrication workflows\nUnderstanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)\nExperience working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum fabrication\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines\nExcellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociate's Degree in CAD/CAM Technology, CNC Programming, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field\nExperience with Global Shop Solutions ERP\nFamiliarity with Zumen or similar document control systems\nKnowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement\nWork Environment\nWork is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment and may include:\nOffice and shop floor responsibilities\nFrequent interaction with engineering, production, and fabrication teams\nExposure to manufacturing equipment and fabrication processes\nStanding and walking throughout the production floor as needed\nUse of required PPE when entering manufacturing areas, including steel-toe boots, safety glasses, and hearing protection\nWhat We Offer\nCompetitive pay based on experience\nWeekly pay\nLong-term employment opportunities\nCareer growth within a leading manufacturing organization\nMedical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance options\n401(k) retirement plan\nPaid time off for eligible employees\nSafe, team-oriented work environment\nPay Range\n$25.00 – $35.00 per hour (DOE)\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nApache Workforce is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
