Collaborates with other departments to develop custom test solutions that span multiple disciplines to support customer needs.\n\nSalary: $65,000 - $105,000/hr DOE\n\nResponsibilities\n\nMechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting complex machinery or equipment.\n\nWorking knowledge of dynamics, vibration and shock theory and related systems.\n\nSkills / Qualifications\n\nAbility to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry a plus.\n\nHave the ability to work on well-defined issues, standard and/or routine tests, without significant guidance or supervision.\n\nTakes Initiative and, in most cases, does not need to wait for further instruction.\n\nAble to decide on and implement appropriate testing methods and protocols.\n\nLeads and assigns the work of others when needed.\n\nAnalytical/technical knowledge provides a marked impact on overall laboratory technical capabilities and services.\n\nAdapt at managing job priority and work time in accordance with targets/goals set by supervisor.\n\nUnder the close guidance of advanced Engineers in the laboratory, works on well delineated technical issues including standard and routine analysis.\n\nDefined work experience has impact on the day to day technical decisions made on timely delivery of laboratory testing services and customer support.\n\nRecognized by colleagues within the lab as possessing strong technical knowledge.\n\nHas a clearly demonstrated ability to apply an array of testing techniques in a rational and practical style to help examine issues and build solutions.\n\nCompany Overview\nElement is one of the fastest growing testing, inspection and certification businesses in the world.
