This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow work instructions, and a commitment to producing quality products in a safe manufacturing environment.Essential ResponsibilitiesMachine OperationOperate lathes, slotting machines, and other production equipment.Read job orders and production instructions to determine product specifications and operating requirements.Position and secure workpieces, tooling, and fixtures.Adjust machine controls to establish proper feeds, speeds, and cutting depths.Operate machine controls and handwheels to perform machining operations.Direct coolant, cutting oil, or air flow as required during production.Quality & InspectionMonitor machine operation to ensure product quality and efficiency.Inspect parts using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.Verify parts meet dimensional and quality specifications.Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or production discrepancies to supervision.Safety & HousekeepingFollow all company safety policies and procedures.Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Practice safe operation of machinery and equipment at all times. *Other Duties as AssignedQualificationsRequiredAbility to work in a manufacturing environment.Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Basic math and measurement skills.Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.PreferredHighschool Diploma or GED preferred, equivalent will be accepted.Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience.Experience working with lathes, slotters, or similar production equipment.Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.Experience reading blueprints or production drawings.Skills & AbilitiesStrong attention to quality and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Good communication and organizational skills.Ability to meet production goals while maintaining quality standards.Ability to identify and report production issues.Physical RequirementsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.Regular standing throughout the workday.Frequent use of hands, controls, and measuring devices.Frequent talking and hearing.Occasional walking throughout the facility.Frequent lifting of up to 10 pounds.Occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds.Ability to visually inspect products and equipment, including close vision, depth perception, and color recognition.Work EnvironmentThis position works in a manufacturing environment and may be exposed to:Moving mechanical equipment and machinery.Metalworking fluids, fumes, and airborne particles.Moderate to loud noise levels.Production equipment and manufacturing processes.Appropriate training and personal protective equipment will be provided.Equal Employment OpportunityMonoflex is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
