This role is responsible for the oversight and success of various complimentary and paid guest experiences at Bishop's Lodge Resort. The Experiences and Adventures Manager will play a key role in daily operations, lead a team of, and be cross-trained to assist in every department and aspect of the hotel. This is a wonderful opportunity for a curious, organized and active person to join the exciting world of hospitality and experiences.Job Description:Programming/Events/Experiences/Holidays/Group with direction from ADOEEnsuring setup and execution is in line with the SOP and consistentManaging day to day operations and movement of Activity attendant teamManaging setup + hosting one-off events (ex. Easter egg hunt)Audit adventure activities to ensure high quality and one of a kind experienceManaging enchantments as directed by Area Director of ExperiencesWeekly Programming CalendarExecuting scheduled programs with Adventure Coordinator teamEnsuring necessary venue usage and set up for scheduled programsScheduling Adventure Coordinator team as needed for weekly coverageManagement of WAY platform for current and new sessionsMaintain a robust and consistent weekly calendar in partnership with ADOEExperiences OS&EPurchasing, organizing, managing inventory and storage of needed suppliesMaintain experience venues addressing and following up on maintenance & repair issues, organization of storage areas with attendant teamLocal partners/vendorsRelationship management and invoicesCross checking billing & charges accuracyAddressing needs related to venue, bookings and suppliesElevating experiences and maintaining brand standardsSourcing and researching new partners and vendorsSystem Organization, Communications and TrainingUpdating special collateral and calendars as directed by ADOEJoining morning and department rallies to share updates on upcoming programming, new experiences etcDocumenting correct setups, including building SOPs, distributing to team, and maintaining consistency Coordinating internal documents and assisting in distributing them to property teamsExperiences training with necessary hotel teamsGuest JourneySupporting implementation and SOP training of amenities- welcome, departure, turndown and notable guest programs.Supporting creative projects and brand integrity throughout the property in partnership with ADOEQualificationsMinimum of 2 years of work experience in the hospitality industry to include hotels and resorts, restaurants and wineries.Deep knowledge of outdoor adventure activities: hiking, horseback riding, fly fishingEvent production, Event operations and/or Food & Beverage operations experience is encouraged.
