If you are excited about a role but don't meet every bullet point, we encourage you to apply and join us to create the extraordinary.\nJob Summary\nTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Facilities Manager located in Austin TX.\nReporting to the Facilities Director, the Facilities Manager will Manages, coordinates, and oversees various functions for the facilities organization including maintenance and alteration of office, manufacturing, warehouse, truck yards, parking, and landscaped areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and of the facilities. May coordinate, manage, and direct the design, planning, construction, maintenance and alteration of building structures, equipment, machinery, - and other facilities infrastructures.\nWhat a typical day looks like:\nControls inter- building communication installations and maintenance.\nSupervises maintenance and alteration of all areas and equipment within the building(s), as well as layouts, arrangements, and housekeeping of all facilities.\nDetermines work procedures, prepares work schedules, and expedites workflow.\nAssigns duties for subordinates and examines work for conformance to policies and procedures.\nA portion of time is normally spent performing individual tasks related to the facilities unit.\nCoordinates purchase orders within budget guidelines and files monthly reports to accounting, corporate, and/or facilities management\nAnalyzes firm's HVAC systems, computer network wiring, lighting, and other factors.\nPlans, budgets, and schedules various regional facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for construction and acquisitions.\nDevelops long range plans, conceptual designs and capital outlay requirements and documentation for various facilities.\nFormulates and coordinates program specifications, requirements for proposals and contracts and associated documents.\nInspects construction and installation progress to ensure conformance to established specifications.\nOversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers engaged in facility equipment installation, facilities equipment repair and preventive maintenance.\nOversees development and updating of the Disaster Recovery Plan and ensures site readiness.\nOversees facilities safety and training programs, first aid and First Responder program, Hazmat, Lock-out/Tag-out, chemical handling safety, MSDS data sheets, compliance to OSHA regulations.\nOther duties as assigned.\nThe experience we’re looking to add to our team:\nBachelor of Science Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture related degree or equivalent experience and training.\n5 years of experience in facilities engineering or related field, including supervision.\n6 years of material and manufacturing experience, including supervision.\nStrong Microsoft Office and Excel knowledge.\nExecutive reporting skills\nCAD and MS project skills\nHere are a few examples of what you will get for the great work you provide:\nFull range of medical benefits, dental, vision\nLife Insurance\nMatching 401K\nPTO\nTuition Reimbursement\nEmployee discounts at local retailer\n#LI-\nYV1\nJob Category\nOperations\nIs Sponsorship Available?\nNo\nFlex is an Equal Opportunity Employer and employment selection decisions are based on merit, qualifications, and abilities.
