Responsibility will include working with the Supervisor to direct the team to drive improvement in Safety, Quality, and Productivity as well as employee development. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading operators with the above listed goals. This position will report to the department Supervisor.\n\nAvailable Shift: 1st Shift – Monday-Thursday 5a-3:30p\n\nDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead the team in running the developed scheduling systems for department operations.\nDevelop staff and train requirements for the efficient operation of the department.\nResponsible for the safe operation of the department.\nResponsible for the delivery of components meeting the customers needs in delivery schedule, quantity, and quality.\nAssist employees with trouble shooting etc. Additionally, escalate to Supervisor when further assistance is needed.\nTrain and educate employees along with motivating and coaching.\nOversee and organize the workload of the department.\nComplete all required documentation within established guidelines and appropriate timeframes.\nCollaborate with other departments.\nAbility to prioritize workload as new work comes into the department.\nMaintain compliance with OSHA safety rules and regulations.\nWork with the leadership team to create/implement processes and procedures.\nEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with team leads.\nStrong customer first attitude with the ability to retain employees.\nDelegate projects as needed\nOther related duties as assigned.\n\nEXPERIENCE:\nProven experience has a high-performing operator.\nPrevious leadership experience preferred.\n\nEXPERTISE:\nExcellent communication skills – written, listening and verbal.\nAbility to work well with other areas to accomplish necessary goals within the company.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nTeam building knowledge\nAble to use tools and equipment in a safe and responsible manner.\nStrong coaching and mentoring skills.\nHandles change well, and are able to implement new processes/procedures to the next level.\nHigh attention to detail.\nAbility to remain calm in high pressure situations.\nMust possess excellent verbal and written communication skills\nUnderstand and support company policies and procedures\nHighly organized, detail oriented with good problem solving skills.\n\nEDUCATION:\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n\nWORKING CONDITIONS:\nRequired to stand on concrete floor up to 10 hours per day.\nRequires working in an office environment, will be seated in a posture position.\nWill utilize a computer terminal for periods of time, and phone use using a handset or headset.\nRequired to visit other departments on a needed basis to resolve issues.\nRequired to work flexible hours as required for production operations.\n\nWhat does MANITOU Group offer?\n\nBase pay will start between $24-$26 per hour plus a potential quarterly bonus based on performance metrics\nActual pay determined by experience level, skills, qualifications & work location\nThis position is located onsite in Madison, South Dakota\nTravel Requirements – no travel required\nIn addition to an inclusive compensation package, we offer a comprehensive benefits program including Medical/Dental/Vision, a matching 401k, tuition reimbursement, volunteer program, wellness activities, employee and family activities throughout the year and so much more!\nApplicants must be authorized to work in the United States.\nManitou Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
