Cashier Position at Just SaladJust Salad is seeking Cashiers that will join our team. Under the general direction of the Restaurant Team Leader, Cashiers will focus on guest interactions and ringing up guest orders on the Point of Sales in the front of house of our operations. In line with Just Salad's mission to make everyday health and sustainability possible, you will also support initiatives to reduce Just Salad's environmental footprint.Cashiers Report to: Store's Restaurant Team LeaderWe are looking for people who:Make focusing on the guest a top priorityAre open to learning and following (great leaders learn to follow first)Are willing to adapt in a growing and ever changing environmentOpen availability preferredCashier's Daily Responsibilities:Provides excellent customer service and thanks all guestsCorrectly and accurately counts the till at the beginning of the shiftRings up all orders as marked on their order ticket (we call it a dupe!) and any additional itemsCorrectly processes cash/credit cards/JS AppMakes smoothies and restocks smoothie station as neededBags customer's purchases upon requestRestocks chips and fronts beverage stationOccasionally wipes down tablesFollows all Just Salad Cash Handling ProceduresRestocks customer bagging areaPrepares restock items for smoothies station as requested by managerJob Requirements:Able to lift and carry up to 20 poundsRemains stationary or moving continuously throughout a shiftClimb stairsMaintain a high degree of pace and intensity throughout shiftAccurately read, write and clearly mark a JS order ticketGeneral knowledge in mathRead, comprehend and follow JS menu and instructionsClearly and professionally communicate with customers, other team members and managementFollow all Just Salad and Health Department Policies, Procedures and StandardsWe provide you with:Paid Training: Every team member hired is set up for success through a training that is structured and detailed.
