CT Tech Location: Delta, CO Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,586 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist / CT Technologist / Radiologic Technologist Profession: Diagnostic Imaging Specialty: MRI Technologist, CT Technologist, Fluoroscopy, Radiologic Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3-12s Weekend Day shifts per week, Day shift occasional call/night shifts per department rotation Hours per Shift: 36 guaranteed hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: ARRT certification required Certifications: BLS certification may be required Must-Have: Strong understanding of imaging equipment, procedures, and patient care Description: Operates and maintains x-ray equipment, fluoroscopic equipment, and c-arm, ensuring proper functionality and safety. Captures and processes x-ray, fluoroscopic, and c-arm images, ensuring proper image quality and clarity. Responsible for all aspects of quality control for the x-ray area as required. Operates computed tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Assists/administers contrast media as ordered by the Radiologist. Assists radiologists during interventional procedures, such as biopsies, injections, and drainages, using the CT images for guidance. Responsible for all aspects of quality control for the CT area as required. Operates magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Interviews patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and requests the removal of metal objects that are hazardous. Monitors staff and patients entering the scan room to ensure no one is wearing or carrying metal or other hazardous items. Responsible for all aspects of quality control for the MRI area as required. Transports patients according to their physical abilities relative to the exams requested. Guides, manages, and protects the patient according to department policies and procedures and all federal, state, and regulatory rules and standards. Uses positioning aids as needed to produce a quality patient exam. Assists in preparing staff and patient schedules to maximize efficiency while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. Ensures all areas of the section are clean, well-appointed, and attractive for patients. Maintains compliance with all federal, state, and regulatory rules and standards. Practices sterile technique and universal precautions. Evaluates exam for technical quality. Maintains all records, logs, and reports according to departmental policies and procedures. Cleans room and restocks linen and supplies as needed following each examination. Makes follow-up calls to patients or physicians as necessary and performs other administrative tasks as required.
