If you're looking for a job that leaves you feeling fulfilled and valued, then look no further than Val-Matic Valve.\nDescription\n\nSupervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in production and stockroom on 2nd shift.\nResponsibilities\n\nStudies schedules, orders, and other records to determine priorities, work assignments, and methods required meeting production schedules on the assigned shift and plant.\nOversees picking, assembly, testing, painting, shipping, and packing activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality.\nEnsures equipment is working properly.\nWorks with Production Manager, Materials Manager, Plant Operations Manager, planners, and other plant supervisors to ensure schedules are met or problems are addressed.\nAdvises management of needs in areas of control.\nIssues written and oral instructions.\nStudies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.\nMaintains harmony among workers and resolves grievances.\nPrepares composite reports as requested from management.\nAdjusts errors and complaints.\nDirectly Supervise 2nd shift co-workers\nPlan, organize and execute co-worker training.\nConduct interviews for hiring new co-workers.\nRequired Qualifications\n\nHigh School Diploma AND 2 years of related experience and/or training\nFamiliar with company products and components\nAbility to respond to common inquiries or complaints from co-workers, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.\nHave working knowledge in mechanical assembly, product testing, work instructions and customer requirements.\nKnowledge of quality systems in an ISO9001 environment.\nPhysical Requirements\n\nAbility to be on feet up to 8-12 hours per shift\nUse of hands and fingers to perform job function\nAbility to stoop, kneel, bend and climb\nAbility to lift up to 50lbs\nSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.\nWages\n\n$75,000 - 88,000\nBenefits\n\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nCompany Paid Life Insurance\nCompany Paid Shot-Term Disability\n401k Match\nTuition Reimbursement\n10 Paid Holidays\nPTO\nFree Uniforms with laundry service\nSafety equipment reimbursement\nA pre-employment Background Check and 6 panel (no THC) Drug screen required.\nVal-Matic is an equal opportunity employer.
