HHA - Home Health Aide

A Home Health Aide (HHA) provides health care services to patients and assists them with their daily activities enabling them to receive the care they need in the comfort of their home or other healthcare setting. QUALIFICATIONS: · 18 years old · NM State Driver’s License ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: · Assisting patients with personal hygiene services, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, or using the restroom · Taking/Monitoring vital signs, such as blood pressure and heart rate · Serving meals and assisting patients with eating · Turning or repositioning patients who may be confined to bed. · Transporting patients or transferring them to and from their wheelchairs and beds · Recording information and reporting to Clinical Manager · Supports patients by performing light housekeeping duties. · Transporting/Accompanying them to doctor's appointments · Monitoring and documenting their health and well-being. · Records patient information by making entries in the patient's chart; notifying nursing supervisor of changes or unusual conditions.
