Our collaboration extends across a diverse array of programs and platforms, including major military prime contractors such as Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, and Raytheon.\n\nPURPOSE:\n\nThe position of Process Engineer is responsible for optimizing and improving manufacturing and industrial processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. They work with various teams to develop new techniques, modify existing processes, implement process improvement projects and introduce new product.\n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nAnalyzing and improving existing manufacturing processes to increase safety, efficiency and quality, while reducing costs\nIdentifying, evaluating, and implementing new technologies to improve manufacturing processes\nPerforming failure analysis, and implementing corrective and preventative actions\nWorking closely with design engineers, manufacturing engineers, quality engineers, procurement, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth production operations\nProviding hands-on support on the shop floor, integrating new products & technologies, and supporting area-wide continuous improvement initiatives\nParticipating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, reduce waste, and improve overall production performance\nProviding training and support to end-users on new products, processes, equipment, and technologies\nInvestigating and resolving production issues related to materials and processes, ensuring robust and cost-effective solutions\nEstablishing metrics, collecting and analyzing data, and using statistical process control to monitor process performance and identify improvement opportunities\nUtilize SAP to model, analyze, and improve business processes\n\nSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 or more years of engineering, manufacturing or data analysis experience\nAbility to work on manufacturing and/or assembly floor\nTechnical proficiency in complex manufacturing activities\nExperience with MRP/ERP software\nProficient understanding of Project Management\nDetailed oriented and adaptable\nMust be able to speak/read/write English\nMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs\n\nPREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:\n\nExperience with MRP/ERP software, preferably SAP\nGreen or Blackbelt in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma preferred\nCAD or Catia experience, highly desired\nCNC, automated and robotics systems experience highly desired\n\nWORK ENVIRONMENT:\n\nMedium-to-large office environment\nManufacturing and/or Machining environment\nFast paced, people and parts movement\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to medium\nExposed to a combination of normal office type environments\nExposed to a combination of potential odors from chemicals and/or processes\nPhysically demanding\nUse of Personal Protective Equipment required\n\nThis position must meet export control compliance requirements.
