Your unique talents and experience will not only make a difference but will be recognized and rewarded!\r\nSuccessful candidates should possess the following characteristics\r\nPassion for solving business problems for clients while providing exceptional customer service.\r\nWillingness to embrace change with a positive attitude.\r\nCommitment to high-quality work and positive customer outcomes.\r\nRead on if this sounds like the place for you!\r\nOverall Responsibility\r\nPosition Purpose\r\nThe Product Procurement Specialist is responsible for generating quotes and processing orders for clients and maintaining vendor relationships.\r\nPosition Functions\r\nQuote Products\r\nProduct and labor quote requests are accurately processed utilizing Solution Builders' standard deployment standards.\r\nQuote requests are properly prioritized, recognizing that some need to be processed more quickly than others.\r\nUtilize Solution Builders quoting tools according to best practices for efficient and timely quoting.\r\nProvide feedback to client technical contacts and the proper Solution Builders staff regarding order status and delivery.\r\nManage the product procurement boards in the Solution Builders ticketing system, keeping quote status accurate.\r\nCheck in and store equipment safely on a timely basis and properly distribute it to technicians for deployment.\r\nPurchase all O365 licenses for clients.\r\nCoordinate Hardware and Software Agreement Renewals\r\nTrack all software and hardware agreement renewals.\r\nCreate quotes for renewals 60 days in advance.\r\nSend the renewal quotes to clients and follow up on pending quotes.\r\nProcure and document the renewals. If something at the client site needs to be implemented, inform the project team so the implementation can happen.\r\nAdditional Duties and Responsibilities\r\nUpholds the company policy guidelines as well as recommends new and improved guidelines to ensure compatibility and better service at client locations.\r\nMaintains current technical expertise in the rapidly changing technology of computing and utilizes state-of-the-art techniques when implementing client solutions.\r\nMaintains a positive attitude and positive working relationship with all departments to optimize working relationships and communication.\r\nFulfills department requirements in terms of providing work coverage and administrative notification during periods of personnel illness, vacation, or education.\r\nPerforms at or above company performance standards established within the department.\r\nOther tasks and projects as directed by company management.\r\nWhat We're Looking For\r\nAbility to work onsite required. This is not a remote position.\r\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\r\nAA, BS or BA degree in computer science, business administration, business communications or related field is preferred\r\n2–5 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, inside sales, or vendor management experience\r\nExperience in a Managed Service Provider (MSP), Value-Added Reseller (VAR), technology distributor, or IT services environment.\r\nFamiliarity with major technology vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, Dell Technologies, HP, Lenovo, etc.\r\nExperience working with ERP, PSA, CRM, and procurement systems.\r\nUnderstanding of software licensing, cloud subscriptions, and technology lifecycle management.\r\n2 years of personal computer experience\r\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\r\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\r\nProficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly Excel.\r\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.\r\nCustomer-service mindset with the ability to collaborate across departments.\r\nSolution Builders is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating a diverse workforce.
