We also offer alternative work schedules.\nSummary pay range: $66,124 – $113,356 annual salary\nThe selected individual will be responsible for but not limited to the following obligations:\nResponsible for ensuring the site paces industry best practice in the area of lean manufacturing through ongoing research, training, practice and application.\nWhile operating within the boundaries of Lean Principles, lead, guide, and direct lean implementation and training initiatives in methodologies and techniques such as 5S, TPM, Kaizen, Demand Flow Manufacturing, JIT, SMED, Kanban, and Rapid Improvement Workshops. May also oversee other training activities.\nUtilize Lean Six Sigma or other similar statistical methodologies and tools to identify and remove waste, improve quality and first pass yield, reduce scrap, and increase overall process velocity.\nCreate and maintain lean manufacturing documentation, including process flow charts, Kanban cards, capacity and utilization studies, labor utilization, time and motion studies, standard work, cycle time analysis and line balancing.\nTake a lead role in the Continuous Improvement Enhanced Skill program, Tiered Daily Management System, and the Visual Workplace Program (VWP).\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Industrial Engineering or other technical engineering related field from four-year college or university; two (2) years of applicable experience in the manufacturing industry preferred. Experience using CAD software preferred.\nExperience with Lean Manufacturing, leading SMED and VSM events, the utilization of Six Sigma and DMAIC and the application of Visual Workplace techniques preferred. Green or Black Belt certification in LEAN/DMAIC/DFSS methodologies preferred.\nSuccessful candidate must have a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire positive change working with and across functional teams to promote collaborative process improvement. Ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of an organization. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to write documentation for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.\nFamiliarity with the application of mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, regression analysis, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.\nAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
