The ideal candidate is an owner who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment, collaborates effectively across cross-functional teams, and is passionate about building reliable, high-quality data platforms.Candidates should have strong expertise in Python and demonstrate deep experience in at least one of the following areas:Data Platform & Databricks AdministrationAzure Cloud & DevOps EngineeringAdvanced Python Application DevelopmentKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable data platforms and cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.Build and optimize data pipelines using Python, Spark, Databricks, and Azure data services.Develop reusable APIs, automation frameworks, and backend services using modern Python technologies.Administer and optimize Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, security, governance, and performance.Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and platform operations.Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Azure Container Apps or Kubernetes.Collaborate with Engineering, Security, Platform, and Product teams to deliver secure, compliant, and production-ready solutions.Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident response processes to ensure platform reliability.Troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve platform performance, scalability, and operational excellence.Follow engineering best practices for security, governance, testing, documentation, and code quality.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or cloud platform engineering.Strong programming experience with Python.Experience building enterprise-grade applications, automation solutions, or scalable data pipelines.Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational and cloud databases.Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.Candidates Must Be Strong in at Least One of the Following1.
