Perform a variety of skilled operational tasks throughout the day, which includes interfacing with the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. Perform analytical tests and perform technical maintenance work supporting the operation.\nPrimary Duties:\nAssist with operations, maintenance, and overall activities associated with the facility.\nAssist in the anaerobic digestion process by monitoring equipment, gauges, and trending on HMIs, and waste treatment processes.\nRecord and analyze statistical data concerning plant operations ensuring the plant is operating as specified.\nTroubleshoot failures and malfunctions to determine the root cause and maintain, operate, repair, and replace equipment as necessary.\nMaintain, modify, or repair instrumentation and control equipment, including recorders, flowmeters, and other water-quality monitoring equipment.\nCollect samples for testing and reporting and perform lab analysis for process control.\nEnsure that plant operates, within required standards.\nMonitor performance of electrical systems, circuits, or equipment of the treatment plant.\nMaintain a clean and presentable plant environment.\nPerform other duties and project work as assigned.\nJob Qualifications:\nEducation: High School diploma or equivalent.\nPreferred Education: Technical degree or vocational training.\nYears of Experience: 2+ in wastewater or plant environment\nPreferred Experience:\nExperience in wastewater operations\nAnaerobic process experience\nLicenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License\nOther Considerations:\nExcellent communications skills, both in verbal and written forms\nAble to handle multiple tasks\nAble to work well with others\nBasic understanding of the anaerobic digestion process; willingness to learn process and operating procedures\nAbility to work on call shifts\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions:\nPhysical requirements include standing on feet for extended periods; requiring stair and ladder climbing, and routinely lifting up to fifty (50) pounds. Protective equipment must be worn in the performance of some duties (e.g. hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, ear protection, etc.).
