We are looking for individuals who can independently apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria using their experience and judgment. Ability to plan, schedule, conduct, or coordinate detailed phases of technical work in small to major projects. Provide assistance to senior level engineers and project managers in preparing current project status for keeping clients informed on progress and internal reporting. Supervise/coordinate and help lead the team of engineers, drafters, technicians, and others who assist in specific assignments.\nResponsibilities:\nProject Design for Site Development\nGrading and Drainage Plans\nUtility Systems for Water and Sewer\nReport Preparation and Master Planning Studies\npreparation of specifications and cost estimates\nRoadway/Street final design package – Plan, Profile, Cross Sections\nRoadway Design: Streetscape, Green Streets, Bicycle Path Plans\nFederal, State, City and County Standards\nReport Preparation and Conceptual Studies\nPreparation of Specifications and Quantity Takeoffs/Cost Estimates\nProjects include residential, commercial, mixed-use and public works projects\nQualifications:\n3+ years of experience in site development, design of residential and/or commercial subdivisions, utility systems, and roadways.\nB.S in Civil Engineering or related field from an ABET Accredited Curriculum or equivalent required.\nProfessional Engineering license in the State of California is preferred\nAutoCAD and Civil 3D mastery required\nBenefits:\nCompetitive salaries, end of year bonuses, profit sharing, and 401k\nBKF pays 100% of the premiums for medical, dental, and vision coverage and 50% for your dependents\n14 days of paid vacation time, 6 paid sick days, 8 paid Holidays\nFlexible schedules\nEducation reimbursement, Paid annual dues for professional and societal organizations\nBKF offers competitive and award-winning benefits and perks.
