Job Description Estimator – Heavy Civil (Water Focus)Title: Estimator (Heavy Civil – Water Projects)Location: Sacramento, CA (or regional office)Compensation: Competitive (based on experience)About the Opportunity:Our client is seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in water infrastructure to support preconstruction efforts on complex public works projects.Key Responsibilities:Prepare detailed cost estimates for water/wastewater projectsPerform quantity takeoffs (concrete, pipeline, structures)Analyze plans, specs, and bid documentsSolicit and evaluate subcontractor/vendor pricingSupport bid strategy and risk analysisQualifications:5+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil constructionStrong experience with water projects, including pipelines and concrete structuresProficiency in takeoff and estimating softwareAbility to interpret complex drawings and specificationsStrong analytical and communication skills
