The Operations Manager drives continuous improvement, fosters collaboration between departments, and ensures that operations support excellent customer service.\r\nDuties and Responsibilities:\r\nProcess Improvement and Efficiency:Analyze operational processes and workflows, identify inefficiencies, and implement changes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness\r\nTeam Leadership and Development:Supervise, train, and develop staff, conduct performance evaluations, foster a positive work environment, and address team issues promptly\r\nForecasting and Labor Management:Execute weekly and monthly labor planner, monitor expenses, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure the branch operates within forecasted labor hours/dollars/percents to meet financial targets\r\nProcurement and Inventory Management:Source products from preferred vendors, manage inventory levels to meet demand without overstocking, facilitate equipment tracking and preventive maintenance, and ensure timely vendor deliveries\r\nSafety, Compliance and Risk Management:Ensure operations comply with industry regulations, enforce company safety standards, identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate, execute compliance processes (e.g., Stretch & Flex, Gate Check, ETC), conduct audits, and maintain accurate safety documentation\r\nReporting and Performance Metrics:Track and report KPIs to track operational performance, report operational challenges to the Branch Manager daily, leverage company systems and tools such as BrightPath, Power BI, Leadr, Field Management Systems, and Estimating (CPQ) to inform data-driven decisions and drive continuous improvement\r\nCustomer Service, Satisfaction, and Jobsite Quality:Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and jobsite quality, address operational issues, and implement processes to improve customer experience\r\nProject Management:Lead and coordinate operational projects, ensuring work is delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with branch growth and operational goals\r\nResource Planning:Oversee staffing, equipment, and technology allocation; anticipate forecast operational needs; plan for future resource requirements; and ensure sufficient capacity to meet demand\r\nCollaboration and Communication:Partner with internal branch departments (Office Admin, Operations, Sales, Account Management) and external vendors/clients to support smooth operations and communicate/execute operational excellence strategies in partnership with the Director of Operations\r\nEducation and Experience:\r\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in a landscape or business-related field, or equivalent experience in a service-based industry\r\nMinimum 7 years of experience in the construction or landscaping industry\r\nMinimum 2-3 years of management experience within the landscape or service industry\r\nQualified Applicator License (Pesticide or Fertilizer) preferred\r\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as company systems such as FSM, BrightPath, and MFP/WAR calls.\r\nExperience with mobile applications, including retrieving email, accessing and using mobile applications, taking, and sharing pictures\r\nProven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving work environment.\r\nBilingual in English and Spanish preferred\r\nEffective written and oral communication skills\r\nAbility to create and foster a team-oriented environment\r\nPhysical Demands/Requirements:\r\nAbility to walk, bend, twist, and carry up to 50lbs\r\nAbility to traverse uneven surfaces on job sites for quality checks and inspections\r\nMust be able to travel within the branch territory to visit designated client properties\r\nWork Environment:\r\nField-based role;
