In this role, you will work daily with elementary students to support their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and help them achieve their academic, social emotional, and/or behavioral goals in both specialized and inclusive classroom settings.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide daily, direct support to students with special education goals as outlined in their IEPs.Assist classroom teachers in implementing modified curricula and instructional strategies.Help foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe learning environment for all students.Monitor student progress and collaborate regularly with teachers and intervention specialists.Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and scheduled duty periods.Position Details & ScheduleHours: 7.5 hours per dayDaily Schedule Breakdown:TimeAssignment7:30 AM - 8:00 AMArrival Duty8:00 AM - 2:45 AMStudent Paraprofessional Support w/ 30 Minute Unpaid Lunch2:45 AM - 3:30 PMBus Paraprofessional DutyQualificationsCertification: Must have obtained (or be eligible to obtain) the ESEA (Elementary and Secondary Education Act) certification / Ohio Educational Aide Permit.High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or 48 semester hours of higher education preferred).Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly those with special needs, is highly preferred.Strong communication, patience, and collaborative teamwork skills.Internal Applicants: All internal candidates interested in this position must submit their application within 3 business days from the posting date.
