This will be accomplished through orientation and job enrichment, progress monitoring and evaluation, documentation, and reporting, and following up accordingly to ensure that all training expectations are regularly met.ResponsibilitiesNew Employee OrientationCoordinates, schedules, and provides an effective New Employee Orientation program for all new hires, and ensures all new hires are receiving sufficient training before being released to perform their roleConducts follow-up meetings with all new employees within established time framesEvaluates the ongoing training and development needs of staff members and identifies training and development opportunities that will assist current employees in advancing to other positions within the organizationLeverages subject matter experts and the Relias Training Platform when developing new courses, providing instruction of training classes or designing individual training and development plansTraining Records & ReportingMaintains all training records for each individual employee and sends out notices to supervisors when specific training requirements have to meet established organization, licensing and compliance standardsMaintains and submits a copy of all completed training records to Human Resources on a quarterly basis for accurate compliance reportingAcquires, reproduces and/or makes available all training materials required for classes provided, as well as maintaining appropriate levels of all training materials for all coursesEnsures equipment and training space is maintained and in good working order at all times and establishes a scheduling method for reserving the training space by other staffEmployee Mentoring ProgramCoordinates new employee support groups and monitors on-the-job mentoring systemsReview New Employee Orientation Evaluation forms to ensure that the needs of staff and the needs of the program are being metPolicy, Procedure & ComplianceComplies with and ensures that all licensing and accreditation standards regarding training and development are regularly maintained and executed to meet the requirements of all accreditation bodies' standards, guidelines, and licensing requirementsCoordinates and assists with activities and reports during audit and accreditation reviews as necessaryDevelops and fosters positive relations with internal and external stakeholdersSupports corporate initiatives and objectivesEnsures confidentiality and follows HIPAA compliance regarding employees and clients in all areasRemains current and adherent on all company policies, assigned trainings and/or certification requirementsRequirementsRequired Education and Licensure:High School Diploma or equivalentMust be 21+ years of ageSome experience in employee training and development requiredValid driver’s license required.
