We're looking for a skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to bring precision and expertise to our custom door production line. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and central to taking our fabrication processes to the next level. If you have a passion for high-quality woodworking, attention to detail, and experience in CNC programming and operation, we'd love to have you on our team.Outcomes we need the person in this position to achieve:Meet daily, weekly and monthly production objectives by implementing effective processes and proceduresEffectively program and set-up the machine to perform the relevant jobs assigned by engineeringEfficiently translate engineering drawings and requirements into dimensions for productionRegularly ensure the CNC machine operates in accordance with the guidelines of the companyOversee the machine during production and ensure the machine is producing the desired resultsCheck machinery on a daily basis to guarantee functionalityPlan stock inventory by checking stock to determine the amount available; anticipate upcoming needsMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions, all under the direction of the maintenance departmentRoll up your sleeves and build really cool doors! (This is not an office job.)What it will take to get the job done:Prior experience programming and operating a CNC Machine- Mastercam or similar software experience requiredAbility to translate mechanical documents and engineering drawingsSkilled in PC usage and associated software including Microsoft OfficeMechanical aptitude with ability to complete intermediate mathematical calculationsAbility to write routine reports, operating instruction and correspondenceAbility to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formAbility to troubleshoot situations in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working in a dynamic, sometimes chaotic, settingAbility to juggle multiple projects at oncePrior woodworking experience a plusWillingness to learn and grow while taking on new assignmentsWhat we offer as an employer of choice:Excellent medical, dental, disability and life insuranceGenerous paid-time-offRustica is a drug-free workplace.
