Control -1st Shift - $16.00","description":"Essential Functions\r\nTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position:\r\nRegular, reliable attendance is required as work cannot be performed remotely.\r\nPlan ahead and prepare action plans to achieve results.\r\nContinually review inventory reports on a daily basis.\r\nBalances and achieves positive results in the areas of safety, quality, productivity, and accuracy.\r\nResolves inventory issues through problem solving.\r\nMeasures and maintains accuracy of inventory utilizing available resources.\r\nPerforms daily cycle counts, reporting any discrepancies to the manager/supervisor.\r\nTroubleshoot quantity discrepancies with appropriate personnel.\r\nPrepare and participate in annual physical inventory.\r\nResponsible for adjustments, and management of negative on-hand product reports.\r\nMonitor all inventory issues and ensure effective resolution for all.\r\nEnsure compliance to all policies and procedures and manage inventory for organization.\r\nPrepare and reconcile all daily cycle count processes and prepare reports within timeframe.\r\nMaintain a positive work environment by demonstrating a positive attitude.\r\nAble and willing to work or assist in all areas of operation.\r\nPromotes accurate, timely communication up and down the organization to ensure priority issues are addressed.\r\nEnsures the work areas are appropriately maintained and correct any unsafe conditions immediately.\r\nWill operate Warehouse Management system 50% of the day in order to print shipping labels and apply to the displays.\r\nNon-Essential Functions\r\nOther duties may be assigned, directed or requested.\r\nQualifications\r\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\r\nMinimum of 3 years of warehouse experience or equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.\r\nBasic proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.\r\nMust be able to work flexible schedules as required which may include working off shifts and weekends.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nAt least 1 year of inventory cycle counting experience.\r\nProficiency in English and Spanish oral and written communication.\r\nAt least 1 year experience utilizing a warehouse management system.\r\nPhysical Requirements\r\nMust be able to stand up to 10 hours in a day.\r\nMust be able to operate a manual pallet jack.\r\nMust be able to walk up to 8 hours.\r\nWill continuously reach up and out.\r\nWill occasionally climb.\r\nWill occasionally push/pull from 11 to 25 pounds.\r\nWill frequently bend, stoop, and reach up and out, crouch, knee, and push/pull from 36 to 50 pounds.\r\nWill frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.\r\nWill occasionally have repetitive foot movement.\r\nWill frequently have repetitive hand/arm movements for simple reaching, simple and firm grasping and/or fine hand manipulation.\r\nSpecific vision ability required by this job includes close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.\r\nRegularly required to stand; use hands to finer, handle, or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms.\r\nMust be able to wear personal protective equipment as needed.\r\nLanguage Skills\r\nMust have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.\r\nAbility to speak with all levels of the organization.\r\nAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.\r\nAbility to run routine reports.\r\nMathematical Skills\r\nMust be proficient in mathematics.\r\nAbility to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.\r\nAbility to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurements, volume, and distance.\r\nReasoning Ability\r\nAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.\r\nAbility to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.\r\nWork Environment\r\nThe work performed is in a warehouse distribution center environment.\r\nThe employee is frequently exposed to vibrations and dust, and will be working around moving machinery.\r\nThe noise level in the work environment is usually moderate at low decibels.\r\nMust be able to work in a fast paced,
