The candidate will work side by side with customers and other contractors in the Program Office. Working with the customer, the candidate will also interface with major defense contractors who supply critical defense capabilities. The majority of the work will be performed in the customer workspace. Travel up to 20% is expected.\n\nResponsibilities\nProvide project management, acquisition support of customer development efforts.\nPerform project manager duties to ensure efficient execution of assigned efforts.\nWork closely with program managers, lead project engineers, contracts, finance, and program teams.\nMaintain awareness of day-to-day issues and plan/prepare for significant project events.\nAssist in the full spectrum of actions required to award contracts and contract modifications to other contractor(s) that may include pre-award documentation, assistance in the support of source selection activities, and post-award support activities.\nReview contract deliverables, integrated schedules, technical status reports, and cost performance reports and provide assessments to the Government team.\nAssist in program office surveillance of prime and subcontractor performance.
