The ideal candidate will have strong experience inCore Java, software design, and large-scale, multi-OS environmentsand a proven ability todrive end-to-end delivery across the SDLC, coach teams, and apply modern engineering practices to deliver resilient, secure software .\r\nResponsibilities:\r\nDesign, develop, and optimize Java services and applications for large-scale programs.\r\nApply Agile practices and cultivate team effectiveness within Agile frameworks.\r\nLead and coach engineers in technical skills and engineering excellence.\r\nImplement CI/CD, TDD, and cloud-native patterns with a focus on resiliency and security.\r\nCollaborate across multiple operating systems and infrastructure platforms.\r\nEvaluate emerging technologies and guide their application to business problems.\r\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\r\nExpertise in Core Java and software design techniques.\r\nExperience across the full software development lifecycle and toolchains.\r\nProficiency with Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Test Driven Development.\r\nKnowledge of cloud development, resiliency patterns, and application security practices.\r\nAbility to operate in large, complex environments with multiple operating systems and infrastructures.\r\nStrong communication and coaching abilities.\r\nExperience level: 8+ years in relevant engineering roles.\r\nPreferred Skills:\r\nExposure to public cloud platforms and container orchestration.\r\nLeadership in Agile delivery and community contributions such as talks or publications.\r\nWhy BCforward?\r\nAt BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
