They provide full-service engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCm) services to industrial process manufacturers that operate in pulp & paper, chemical, CPG, F&B, power and heavy industrial market markets across the nation. \n \nWHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: \nThis person will design structures that must endure stresses and pressures inflicted through human use and environmental conditions. The incumbent will design/configure structures, oversee drawing production, choose appropriate foundation, building and equipment support material, inspect the construction work and ensure the structural soundness of foundations, buildings and structures.\n\nPrepare reports, design criteria, estimates, designs and drawings\nMake calculations about pressures, loads and stresses\nProvide technical advice on safe designs and construction\nObtain planning and/or building regulations approval\nLiaise with clients and professional staff such as architects and engineers\nMonitor and inspect all work undertaken by contractors to ensure structural soundness\nAdminister small sub-contracts and manage structural projects\nInspect geotechnical properties to evaluate the conditions and foundations\nUse computer aided design technology for simulation purposes\n\nIDEAL BACKGROUND:\nThe successful candidate should have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be excited by opportunities to add value to our clients with engineering expertise.
