Allen Survey - High School Internship

The High School Survey Internship is offered in partnership with the Allen ISD STEM Center. During this internship, you will join an established and growing survey group, providing an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience. You will perform a variety of field surveys using advanced robotic and GPS equipment, allowing you to develop practical skills and knowledge in the field of surveying.Responsibilities/Expectations: Responsibilities include:Assist and shadow survey crew members in conducting field surveys using robotic and/or GPS equipmentHelp with data collection and entry for survey projectsSupport the survey team in preparing and organizing survey documents and reportsLearn and apply basic surveying principles and techniquesParticipate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skillsUnloading and organizing suppliesOther duties & assignments as directedRequirementsCurrently enrolled in high school Allen ISD STEM programStrong interest in surveying, geography, or related fieldsExcellent attention to detail and willingness to learnAbility to work well in a team environmentGood communication skills and a positive attitude
