Whether you are looking for an assembly position or a career in manufacturing management, you can thrive as a member of our team.\r\nASSEMBLER / SEQUENCER\r\nJob Summary\r\nAssembler or Sequencer position will be responsible for operating production line equipment, finishing products and reporting any issues with equipment/station directly to his/her direct supervisor.\r\nAn assembler or sequencer position can include repetitive lifting, twisting and bending, in a factory setting. This opportunity will provide the candidate hands-on, day-to-day technical interaction within automotive manufacturing.\r\nDuties And Responsibilities\r\nAssemble goods on production lines following applicable work instructions;\r\nCarry out basic quality and testing checks;\r\nFollow Company's philosophies and values at all times;\r\nMaintain a safe work environment through good housekeeping in work areas and equipment;\r\nAdhere to safe work practices at all times;\r\nMonitor the production process and be part of the teamwork culture assisting the team in order to achieving their production goals;\r\nEnsure that all production and quality systems are followed at all times;\r\nEnsure that information is communicated and acted upon allowing the team to make appropriate decisions to focus on necessary improvements;\r\nHelp the team meet customer expectations;\r\nFeed raw materials into production machinery;\r\nStore goods and raw materials properly in our warehouse;\r\nUse lifting equipment to fulfill orders;\r\nPack goods to be shipped;\r\nAll other duties as assigned.\r\nEducation And Experience\r\nHigh School diploma or equivalent\r\nExperience: 1+ year experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus\r\nTravel\r\nTravel Required: No\r\nKnowledge, Skills, And Abilities\r\nMust be able to lift up to 40 pounds\r\nMust be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day\r\nMust have good communication skills\r\nMust have good hand and eye coordination\r\nAble to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment;\r\nAbility to effectively interact with people;\r\nAble to work on foot for extended periods of time;\r\nBe able to work any shift;\r\nBe able to work weekends when volunteered for or required;\r\nBe highly motivated and have an interest in manufacturing;\r\nHave a history of safe work practices;\r\nBe a team player, who is flexible and easily adapts to change and be willing to work close to other employees at some stations.
