You will be part of a business-aligned development squad that specializes in building, improving and maintaining custom software and solutions supporting the business.\r\nYour Primary Responsibilities\r\nDesign, develop, and implement automated tests to ensure the quality of software products.\r\nAs a squad member, work to understand software requirements.\r\nDesign, develop and maintain automated tests that validate the functionality.\r\nAs a squad member work to identify and resolve defects and improve the overall software testing process.\r\nImplement and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery (CICD) processes.\r\nDiagnose and remediate software defects.\r\nStay ahead of new software testing methodologies, tools, and technologies.\r\nUnderstand and apply industry-specific best practices & standards.\r\nEstablish level of expertise in the business areas, systems and platforms being supported.\r\nResponsible for system integration testing, including automation, of newly developed or enhanced applications.\r\nResponsible for reviewing requirements and design artifacts, developing unit, integration and system test cases, ensuring extensive test coverage for our applications.\r\nUnderstand and articulate the business and the value adds.\r\nPlay an active role in translating business and functional requirements into concrete results.\r\nResponsible for Project Coordination and Technical Management tasks.\r\nNOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above.\r\nQualifications\r\nProven min experience of 5-7 years with automated unit and integration testing.\r\nBachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, and/or a related field.\r\nTalents Needed For Success\r\nHands On experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc. as well as CI/CD technologies (e.g. Cloudbees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, JUnit, Jira etc.).\r\nExtensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components.\r\nStrong experience with automated testing and test-driven development\r\nDetailed understanding of smoke testing, functional, and non-black box testing, as well as regression testing.\r\nKnowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques, including unit testing, integration testing, and functional testing\r\nExpert and hands on with backend test automation using Rest Assured/Karate for API testing. JDBC/JPA for database testing (Oracle/ DB2/ Snowflake).\r\nExperience in Java Application Development\r\nProficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc.)\r\nKnowledge of Databases and SQL preferred.\r\nExperience in writing SQL queries.\r\nExperienced in Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination.\r\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail\r\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\r\nPositive relationship and collaboration skills.\r\nThe salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
