You’ll work as a member of a close team to form the backbone of the broad security services Inter-Con provides its valued clients every day.\nSpecific benefits include:\nCompetitive pay.\nRecognition and Reward Programs.\nTraining and Career Development.\nOpportunities for Medical, dental, Holidays, vacation and sick, and 401 (k) retirement plan.\nUniform and equipment provided.\nAdditional benefits vary depending on position.\nResponsibilities:\nConduct yourself professionally\nConduct interior and exterior patrols within an office, industrial complex or Shopping centers with medium / high volume of people.\nPerform patrols around the perimeter.\nCheck all personnel entering facilities.\nLog in all visitors, vehicles and vendors.\nIssue visitor badges as required.\nMaintain security, visitor logs and other records.\nAdminister access control over vehicles entering garages or other parking structures\nOperate a hand-held radio, cell phone or other communication devices as needed\nAccess control of all entries by employees, vendors, contractors, visitors, etc.\nMaintain and carry the assigned company cell phone as required.\nAssist employees in an orderly evacuation of the building and to Muster Points in an event of a fire or other emergency.\nObserve and report suspicious activity or situations and use communication skills and deductive reasoning to prioritize your responsibilities.\nQualifications:\nSpeak, read, and write English\nMust be age 21 or older\nShall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency\nMust be of high integrity and possess exemplary security skills and judgment.\nMust possess above average computer skills and must hold all necessary and required licenses, permits and certifications required by the of assignment to perform security officer duties.\nValid California Guard Card\nPass a background Check\nPass a 5-panel drug test (DOT Requirements)\nDriver’s License / State ID Card\nCPR Certification, we help get you certified\nVeterans\nInter-Con is passionate about hiring veterans.
