Troy, OHOn-Site Freudenberg-NOK General PartnershipYou support our team as Business Development Manager Responsibilities Drive new business development and market expansion for the Competence Center across targeted U.S. market segmentsDevelop and execute market-driven strategic plans (STRAP) to achieve sustainable competitive advantage and long-term profitable growthConduct market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform positioning, opportunity selection, and strategic decisionsPartner with Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to ensure pricing, costing, margins, and risk/reward decisions support growth strategyServe as the Voice of the Customer by building strong customer relationships and translating insights into strategic prioritiesSupport sales efforts through proposal development, pricing strategy, negotiations, customer meetings, and prospect identification through deal closureAct as the commercial champion across global and cross-functional teams, influencing product roadmaps, identifying technology gaps, and managing Application Engineers and Product Management resourcesQualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field7+ years of experience in market development, customer development, or sales, preferably selling technical or engineered solutionsStrong experience conducting market analysis and developing data-driven strategiesIndustry knowledge in aerospace, hydraulics, sealing solutions, or related industrial markets is preferredProven commercial and financial acumen, including pricing strategy, margin management, and profitability optimizationExcellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence cross-functional and global stakeholdersDemonstrated leadership, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentThe Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
