We're now the leader in the industry but we've got more work to do, and we need the right talent on board to help with our mission of serving churches with tomorrow's technology.\n\nWe're looking for an energetic, highly motivated Software Engineer to join one of our talented development teams. You'll create tools and services that improve the development cycle for all of our feature teams. You'll work predominately in the backend (~70% of time), but will also have frontend responsibilities (~30% of time).\n\nThis is a remote role in the United States.\n\nWhat You'll Do:\nProduce, maintain, and improve the quality of development and testing code.\nAccomplish day-to-day sprint work effectively and meet sprint commitments.\nFollow all programming standards and development methodologies, including quality unit testing.\nFind and implement innovative ways to improve areas of the development life cycle, especially areas related to quality, productivity, and scalability.\nEncourage and enforce code reuse and quality standards.\nRecommend new and better tools, patterns, and methodologies.\nSupport and improve agile methodologies.\nCollaborate with other engineers at all levels to achieve team goals.\nProvide technical input for product owners and sprint teams.\nMonitor code quality and recommend or create tech debt stories to address issues.\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; and participating in professional societies.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related with at least 3 years of experience in software development, or an equivalent combination of education and experience\nDemonstrated working knowledge of development frameworks and best practices\nThorough understanding of system analysis and design\nProficiency using a modern programming language such as: Go, C#, .Net\nProficiency using relational databases such as Postgres, SQL Server\nFamiliarity with front end development and frameworks such as: React, Vue.js, JQuery\nProficiency with using source control (GIT)\nProfessional, precise communication skills\nProven ability to learn software development tools, able to self-motivate.\nAbility to troubleshoot complex technical issues\nWhy You Want to Work Here:\nOutstanding benefits package, including 6% 401(k) match\nFree Wellness Clinic staffed by a Nurse Practitioner\nA caring, friendly work environment\nThe opportunity to positively impact ministries\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
