ControllerKern County, CA$120,000-130,000 + Strong BenefitsWe’re partnering with a growing service company in Kern County seeking a hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and support leadership with financial insight. This is a high-visibility role with direct interaction with ownership and the executive team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in both the day-to-day accounting and big-picture financial strategy.Key Responsibilities• Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger• Lead month-end and year-end close; ensure timely and accurate financial reporting• Prepare and review financial statements, budgets, and forecasts• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and financial controls• Develop and improve processes, systems, and internal controls• Partner with operations to provide financial insights and support decision-making• Supervise and mentor accounting staffQualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership• Experience in industrial services, construction, manufacturing, or similar environment preferred• Strong understanding of cost accounting, job costing, or project-based accounting is a plus• Ability to operate both strategically and hands-onWhy This Opportunity?• High visibility role with leadership exposure• Opportunity to build and improve processes• Comprehensive benefits package#LI-AC8#INAPR2026
