The activities include but not limited to\n\nAcquire basic knowledge of pump and mechanical seal fundamentals to support Flowserve activities.\n\nSupport manufacturing team on projects related to cost reduction and process improvement.\n\nWork with regional operations leadership to develop standardization initiatives.\n\nResearch specific equipment information per customer requirements.\n\nCreate technical customer-facing final job reports and as-found condition reports.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nActively pursuing a degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related curriculum and in good standing.\n\nGood communication skills\n\nProficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.\n\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.\n\nBasic mechanical aptitude and comfort working in a hands-on, fast-paced, team-oriented environment that may include office, laboratory, and manufacturing settings.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nAbility to utilize measuring equipment (ie. dial calipers, micrometers, etc.)\n\nExperience in SolidWorks\n\nSpecific assignments and work environments may vary by host team.
