Also, the SQA Test function is responsible for reviewing all test results and providing a recommendation as to the risks associated with the implementation of the software. SQA Test procedures must include, and are not limited to, the following:\r\nDevelopment and engineering documentation requirements for receiving software for testing.\r\nTest environment establishment and creation.\r\nTest account and variable selection from production and non-production databases.\r\nTest script development, compilation, review and application.\r\nTest script execution.\r\nIntegration test review and assurance activities.\r\nAcceptance test review and assurance activities.\r\nFinal internal review and recommendation of all software planned and scheduled for production.\r\nCoordination and communication standards with software engineering and development staffs.\r\nCoordination, communication and interaction with user communities including operational staff, client Management, government users and other users defined for specific software.\r\nDocumentation requirements and procedures that meet or exceed SEI CMMi Level 3 standards.\r\nMembers of the SQA Test Team must also be able to handle the following tasks:\r\nreview and understand functional requirements documents,\r\nreview and understand detailed design documents,\r\ndevelop test plans for the core and ancillary systems,\r\nreview test output and identify software defects,\r\ncommunicate test results with developers,\r\nperform regression tests,\r\nreview test results with the Independent Quality Control Unit, and\r\nreview test results with the government representatives.\r\nCandidates should have:\r\na 4-year degree preferably in Computer Science, MIS, Math, or a related field,\r\n5+ years of testing experience,\r\nstrong communications skills both verbally and written,\r\nexperience with testing tools such as Rational Quality Manager, Rational Functional Tester or the like,\r\nexperience with automated testing tools such as Rational Functional Tester, Selenium, or the like\r\nexperience testing Extract Transform Load (ETL) applications,\r\nstrong command of SQL is desired, and\r\nexperience with web testing.\r\nWork Location will be McLean, VA\r\nOmniSystems is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
