{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"cfccaa4cfaa4ddd0c61da172","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cfccaa4cfaa4ddd0c61da172","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cfccaa4cfaa4ddd0c61da172","title":"Process Tech","description":"Apply for tomorrow’s opportunity today, with Volt\nVolt is immediately hiring Process Technician for Injection Mold in Oxnard, CA.\nAs a Process Technician for Injection Mold, you Will:\nThe duties of the Set-up Person include but are not limited to the following:\nRefer to Set-up Instruction Sheet.\nPrepare injection molding machine specified on Set-up Sheet for setup\nLocate Tool # to be used.\nVisually examine Tool for fitness -for-use.\nHang tool specified on set up sheet in machine.\nAttach Cooling lines, Mold heater, Hopper dryer as specified.\nInform Material Handler of material to be used.\nPrepare Material Hopper for material to be used.\nSet machine controls, time, temperature, pressure, etc. as outlined on setup sheet.\nInform Operators of special handling, trimming, and packaging requirements.\nWhen all instructions of setup sheet are completed, mold first samples.\nVisually inspect first run samples for quality of workmanship.\nPrepare (detach from runner trim, bag) visually acceptable first shot samples.\nSubmit samples to QA/SPC after initial set up and authorized process changes.\nSeparate runners and material for regrinding from acceptable production.\nAdjust and record changes in process parameters when advised by QA.\nStop machine when critical characteristics cannot be produced.\nPerform routine maintenance on machines and tooling to satisfy facility maintenance.\nRespond to Quality Alerts and perform corrective/preventive action in a timely manner.\nGather, prepare, and submit SPC sample parts to QA during the production.\nStop machine and purge material at conclusion of production run.\nCommunicate status of production run shift-to-shift.\nCoordinating and direct all production activities necessary to meet customer requirements i.e., tool issues, material handling, regrinding, packaging, and storage.\nSubmit production records to the Administrative Office.\nContribute to customer satisfaction by assuring that molding process setup produces moldings equal or better than the visual quality standards.\n\nThis is a Full-time, Contract to Hire opportunity.\n\nRequirements:\nHigh School Diploma / GED.\nBilingual in English/Spanish.\n\nPay Range: $32.00 - $40.00 Per hour\n\nPay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\n\nQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
