As a Activity Security Representative (ASR) 1 you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.\r\nThe Activity Security Representative's primary function is to provide multi-disciplined security support to a customer's facility and organization. The position will provide \"day-to-day\" support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and Special Access Program (SAP) activities.\r\nHow an Activity Security Representative (ASR) I will make an impact:\r\nClassification reviews of inbound and outbound correspondence.\r\nAssist in the maintenance of a document accountability database and associated correspondence.\r\nProcessing inbound and outbound classified mail and receipt records.\r\nPerform destruction of classified materials.\r\nProcess magnetic media for accountability.\r\nReproduction support for classified materials.\r\nMaintain various daily logs for a variety of administrative functions associated with document control.\r\nAssist in the processing of inbound data and outbound data transfer files.\r\nTransfer electronic data files to internal customers.\r\nMaintain an extensive customer database point of contact listing.\r\nAssist with researching, processing, filing, and maintaining inbound and outbound visit notices.\r\nEscort facility visitors and maintains associated logs.\r\nAssist in the preparation of facility access control badges.\r\nConduct entry and exit inspections.\r\nAssist in the maintenance of facility access control entry systems, to include visitor control.\r\nPerform data entry to the Personnel Access Security System database and maintain all customer sponsored billets and quota information.\r\nAssist in maintaining personnel security files for all personnel of the supported element.\r\nFollow and enforce the customer's Standard Operating Procedures.\r\nProvide support for the security awareness and education programs.\r\nPerform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative.\r\nWhat you'll need to succeed:\r\n0-2 years of experience.\r\nSAP experience desired.\r\nExperience Education Equivalents:\r\nSecurity Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 1 years of experience.\r\nSpecial Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 1 years of experience.\r\nMaximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 3 years.\r\nEducation:\r\nBachelor's degree (Desired) Bachelor's degree counts as four years of experience, Associate's degree in related area counts as two years of experience.\r\nSecurity Clearance Level:\r\nCurrent - TS/SCI\r\nWilling/Able to obtain CI poly\r\nGDIT is your place:\r\n401K with company match.\r\nComprehensive health and wellness packages.\r\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career.\r\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications.\r\nCutting-edge technology you can learn from.\r\nRest and recharge with additional paid vacation and holidays.\r\nThe likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $72,795.
