We are looking for a highly self-motivated technician to join our growing team at our flexible electronics manufacturing facility in Pleasanton in the Tri-Valley of the Eastern San Francisco Bay area.\n\nAs an Electronic Assembly Technician, you will:\nAssemble cables, PCB, and electrical connectors, into complex assemblies using specific written Manufacturing Work Instructions\nPerform inspection of incoming material and in-process and finished product\nRecord accurate and detailed production information in Manufacturing Documentation\nProvide regular updates on build schedule and downtime issues\nAssist in the identification, implementation, and evaluation of process improvements to help increase productivity and efficiency rates\nMaintain functionality of equipment by performing scheduled preventive maintenance\nConduct physical inventory of parts or assemblies in designated areas\nMaintain 5S order and cleanliness in the assembly area at all times\n\nQualifications:\n4+ years electronics manufacturing environment. RF experience, preferred.\nExperience with PCB or small electronic component assembly to be considered. Such operations may include, but are not limited, to:\nAbility to use simple hand and machine tools to perform unique assembly processes.\nCoaxial cable cutting, cable stripping, and connector crimping\nElectronic component preparation\nSMT hand-soldering\nIPC-A-610 and/or IPC-7711/7721 background is a plus\nAbility to count, measure, and perform basic mathematics\nAbility to work on small parts (ability to work under magnification is a plus)\nAbility to use precisions measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers\nBasic computer skills, including using a Windows-based operating system and related software\nPositive communication skills with employees in all areas of manufacturing and supporting functions\nEligibility to work in the U.S.\n\nSchedule:\n8 hour shift, Monday to Friday\nThis is an on-site position.\n\nPay:\n$25-29 depending on experience\n\nInkspace Imaging offers a terrific work environment, professional development, and competitive compensation.
