The PM serves as the focal point for coordination of all project information between the field, office, senior management and the entire project team. The PM provides leadership, support, and training to the project team.\n\nReports to: Project Executive\n\nThe role will be located at Grunley's Rockville HQ for 6 months leading up to project start up.\n\nRequired Education\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business\nRequired Experience\nThis position requires a minimum of five (5) years of construction experience.\nRequired Qualifications\nWorking knowledge of construction project management software (Procore and P6 scheduling) is required.\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nPay application and Subcontractor Pay Voucher Preparation\nProject CPM schedule development, updates, and time impact analysis\nChange management process\nMaterial and equipment fabrication & delivery tracking\nSubcontract administration and enforcement\nPrime contract administration & adherence\nOverall project team leadership & mentorship\nComplex issue negotiation & resolution\nSubcontractor buyout process\nJob Status Report, profit plans, and forecasting management\n\nResponsibilities/Duties\n\nProject Execution\nAssists in the development of project staffing plan and assignments.\nOrganizes and oversees job site administration.\nAssists in the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.\nOversees subcontractors’ quality of work and coordination among trades.\nIdentifies and resolves all issues and changes.\nAssures that job site safety and security systems are in place and operating.\nAssures that all materials are delivered properly and on time (submittal and procurement procedures).\nSchedule Management\nDevelops, monitors, and updates project schedule.\nOversees subcontractor schedules.\nCost Control\nEstablishes and manages project specific cost control system.\nMonitors cost reports for adherence to budgets.\nApproves payments to subcontractors.\nProvides timely submission of invoices.\nCommunications\nEstablishes and maintains relationships with all project participants (e.g., Owner and Owner’s representative, design professionals, subcontractors).\nEstablishes, manages, and sees that project specific information systems are maintained.\nCoordinates site activities with office activities.\nCommunicates schedule revisions to all parties, as appropriate.\nCommunicates cost control status and issues to Grunley management in a timely manner.\n\nOur benefits package is designed to support employee well-being and financial security, including employer-sponsored health and life insurance, paid time off for sick leave, maternity/paternity leave, jury duty, and vacation, and retirement options like 401(k) plans.
