Visiting Professor of Adult Education
To support a dynamic Adult & Higher Education program, the full-time Visiting Professor of Adult Education will provide instruction in online and hybrid courses, advise doctoral candidates on dissertation projects, and develop curriculum for a newly redesigned EdM program while engaging in research and service activities.
Key Responsibilities
Teach courses and mentor graduate students in applied dissertation projects
Develop curriculum for the EdM program and engage in scholarship related to educational program delivery
Provide service to the Adult and Higher Education program and related professional organizations
Required Qualifications
Earned doctorate in higher education, educational leadership, adult education, or a closely related field
At least three years of experience teaching Master's and/or doctoral level adult education or higher education courses
Demonstrated ability to advise Ed.D. students on applied dissertation projects
Experience in developing curriculum in adult education or higher education
Record of working with underrepresented groups in higher education
