Commonwealth Ave.) | Monday to Friday (Weekends - rarely occasional)\r\nResponsibilities: The People Operations Coordinator provides administrative and operational support across a broad range of People Operations functions, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, employee records administration, training coordination, benefits support, compliance tracking, and employee services. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers by delivering timely support, maintaining accurate records, and helping ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations within a fast-paced ready-to-eat food manufacturing environment.\r\nSupport recruiting efforts by posting job opportunities, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating candidate communications.\r\nAssist with hiring activities, including preparing offer letters and pre-employment documentation.\r\nCoordinate pre-employment screenings and onboarding requirements.\r\nCoordinate new hire onboarding activities, including orientation scheduling, new hire paperwork, and employment eligibility verification (Form I-9).\r\nEnsure employee files and onboarding documentation are completed and maintained accurately.\r\nAssist with employee events, communications, and engagement activities.\r\nAssist with employee separations, exit documentation, and offboarding processes.\r\nServe as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, payroll, and general employment matters.\r\nEscalate complex employee relations concerns to the People Operations Manager.\r\nMaintain employee files and documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable federal, state, and local requirements.\r\nAssist with HR audits, compliance tracking, and required reporting.\r\nSupport compliance with California labor laws, food manufacturing requirements, and company policies.\r\nCoordinate employee training programs, including food safety, workplace safety, harassment prevention, and other required compliance trainings as well tracking and maintaining training records.\r\nAssist in scheduling and organizing development and learning opportunities.\r\nPartner with staffing agencies to coordinate onboarding requirements, attendance tracking, and compliance documentation for temporary employees.\r\nWork with corporate providing information to be recorded within HRIS and related systems.\r\nGenerate routine reports and assist with data audits to ensure accuracy.\r\nProcess employee status changes, promotions, transfers, and other personnel actions.\r\nAssist with communicating company policies, procedures, and People Operations programs.\r\nSupport policy acknowledgment tracking and document retention requirements.\r\nCoordinate leave-related documentation and employee communications.\r\nMaintain leave records and assist with tracking leaves of absence under the direction of the People Operations Manager.\r\nEnsure required documentation is collected and filed appropriately.\r\nSupport workplace safety initiatives and training programs.\r\nAssist with workers' compensation reporting, documentation, and claim tracking.\r\nPartner with Operations and Safety teams to maintain accurate records and follow-up documentation.\r\nParticipate in People Operations projects and initiatives as assigned.\r\nMay travel occasionally to support People Operations initiatives and training activities at other company locations.\r\nQualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.\r\nBilingual (English & Spanish) Highly preferred\r\n1-3 years of Human Resources, administrative, recruiting, or employee support experience highly preferred.\r\nExperience in manufacturing, food production, distribution, or a related environment preferred.\r\nWorking knowledge of California employment laws and HR best practices preferred.\r\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\r\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\r\nHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.\r\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.\r\nWork Environment: Combination of office and food manufacturing environments.\r\nRegular interaction with hourly and salaried employees.\r\nFrequent walking through production, warehouse, and operational areas.\r\nMust be able to work in environments that may include varying temperatures, noise levels, and food production activities.\r\nAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use standard office equipment throughout the workday.\r\nWhy you should join our team: Full-Time starting immediately at $23.00-25.00 per hour.\r\nPower of Collaboration: Live our core values -
