Financial Analyst - Greenwood Village

FINANCIAL ANALYST Overview: GrowGeneration is one of the largest retailers of hydroponic products in the United States and is engaged in the business of marketing and distributing horticultural, organics, lighting, and hydroponics products, including lighting fixtures, nutrients, seeds and growing media, systems, trays, fans, filters, humidifiers and dehumidifiers, timers, instruments, water pumps, irrigation supplies and hand tools. Position Reports To: FP&A Manager Salary Range: $75K - $100K / DOE Purpose of Position: To provide in-depth financial analysis and insights to drive strategic decision-making within the company. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyzing financial data, forecasting future performance, preparing financial reports, and assisting with strategic planning Conduct comprehensive revenue and cost of goods sold analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Proactively develop value-added analysis to improve current processes from both an operational and strategic viewpoint Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and supporting schedules and analytics Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide actionable recommendations to improve financial outcomes Provide support on budgeting, forecasting, and review of financial data for accuracy to plan Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for financial analysis Work closely with various departments, including accounting, operations, and senior management, to ensure accurate and timely financial information is available for strategic initiatives Supports ad hoc reports and analytical projects as requested Adheres to the financial reporting, information security and auditing requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act Other duties as assigned Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field; Advanced degree or designation preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial analysis Previous experience in a business with inventory and international supply Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel; Advanced experience with NetSuite ERP Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Team player with excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
