Our Front Desk Coordinator plays a vital role in fulfilling that commitment. The OpportunityThis position is the first point of contact for the families we serve. The Front Desk Coordinator sets the tone for each interaction by demonstrating communication, kindness, respect for human dignity, hospitality, and compassion. This role blends front desk reception, hospitality, and light administrative coordination. We are seeking someone who naturally asks, “What is the most I can do?” and approaches every task with professionalism and care. What You’ll DoDeliver First-Class Family Experience Greet every visitor with warmth, professionalism, and empathy Answer and route calls with clarity and courtesy Maintain a calm, welcoming environment for families and guests Anticipate needs and provide thoughtful hospitality support during services and meetings Communication & CoordinationServe as a communication hub between families and funeral home staffAccurately relay messages and ensure timely follow-upMaintain visitor logs and front office organizationSupport scheduling and service-related coordination as needed Administrative Support Enter and maintain accurate information in funeral home management software Assist with document preparation and file organization Receive and distribute mail and packages Receive payments and document in management software Maintain office supply levels and front desk materials Professional Standards Uphold confidentiality and respect for sensitive informationMaintain a polished, professional appearanceRepresent Landmark Funeral Group’s commitment to dignity and service excellence What You BringHigh school diploma or equivalent required1-3 yrs prior receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience preferredStrong verbal and written communication skillsComfort with computer systems and data entryHigh emotional intelligence and professionalism in sensitive situationsOrganized, dependable, and detail-oriented Why Join UsBe part of a mission-driven organization that values people and communityCollaborative, supportive team environmentMeaningful work that supports families and local communities
