Experienced Tire/Oil Technician

Job Description Key Responsibilities Schedule: Monday to Friday | 7:00am to 5:30pmPerform oil changes and replace engine oil and filters according to manufacturer specifications.Check and top off vehicle fluids, including coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid.Rotate, mount, balance, repair, and replace tires.Inspect tire tread depth, wear patterns, and tire pressure.Perform battery testing and replacement services.Replace air filters, cabin filters, windshield wipers, and light bulbs.Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report findings to service advisors or management.Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, suspension components, and other vehicle systems for visible wear or damage.Maintain accurate service records and complete work orders.Keep the service area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.Assist B and A Mechanics with repairs and shop operations as needed.Operate vehicle lifts, tire machines, balancing equipment, and other shop tools safely.Follow all company safety policies and procedures.Provide professional and courteous service to customers when necessary.Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred.Previous automotive, tire, lube, or maintenance experience is required.Willingness to learn automotive repair procedures and industry best practices.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license required.Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to develop technical skills.Skills & Competencies Basic vehicle maintenance knowledgeTire service and repair skillsAttention to detailDependability and punctualityStrong work ethicAbility to follow instructionsTeam-oriented attitudeSafety awarenessCustomer service skillsAbility to learn and grow within the automotive industryPhysical Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance.Ability to work in varying temperatures and shop conditions.Ability to safely operate automotive service equipment.Work Environment Full-time position in an automotive repair facility.Frequent use of hand tools, tire machines, balancing equipment, jacks, and vehicle lifts.Exposure to automotive fluids, noise, and varying weather conditions.You should be proficient in:Brake & Suspension SystemsPreventive Maintenance & InspectionBrakesOil ChangesTire ServiceServiceField Service Readiness
