Description:
Main Purpose:
The main purpose of the Cleaning and Environmental Technician is to execute Cleaning and Environmental project work assignments inland and offshore.
Essential Functions:
Work on land and offshore (GOA)
Work loading and unloading materials
Enter offshore tanks and remove products by handling hoses and pumps
Clean offshore tanks after the removal of products
Effectively apply company policy and procedures and enforces project standards
Complete all required training
Participate in Gulf Island safety program
This position is On Call, working nights, weekends and holidays is a requirement
Perform other duties assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
Physical Requirements:
Standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing, talking, hearing and seeing
Turning, twisting and bending
Pushing, pulling and reaching
Must be able to lift and/or move 25-50 pounds
Job Requirements:
2+ years offshore experience
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
Valid Driver's License
Must be able to pass MVR check
Must be able to pass T-Huet (Water Survival Training)
Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
Must be able to pass a background check
Valid TWIC card
Desirable Experience, Education, and Training:
High School Diploma or GED
Environmental Conditions:
80 to 90% of the work activities are performed outdoors. Individuals will be required to work in changes of temperature, hot, cold, humid, wet, and dry conditions, dust, mud, etc.
