Material Handlers play a crucial role in the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse, ensuring safe, timely and accurate movement of materials. Through consistent performance and successful completion of our Material Handler Certification program, individuals can advance through the tiers as they master advanced power industrial vehicles (PIV).\n\nWork Location:\nThis will be an onsite role in our Lynndale or Greenville location.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nFulfilment Center Associates can progress through three distinct tiers, starting with certification and ground level material handling. The employee's job title & compensation will reflect the highest level of competency successfully achieved. For example, an employee who has successfully completed the “Reach Truck\", and is learning \"Turret Truck\" would be titled \"Associate-Material Handler I.\"\nIn addition to the job specific essential functions listed below, every FC Associate must be able to:\nWork in a fast-paced environment, stand/walk up to 10 hours a day and push/pull/lift/carry up to 50 lbs., as described in the Mental and Physical Demands section.\nHave consistent and regular attendance and adherence to schedule.\nMust be able to work mandatory overtime when assigned.\nPerform their daily work activities in a safe manner while following established location safety guidelines and OSHA regulations.\nMay be required to perform non-material operation duties within the Associate-Fulfillment Center role as needed by the business.\nTransport materials between designated locations within the warehouse, including receiving, storage, production areas, and shipping docks.\nLoad and unload materials from trucks and other vehicles using appropriate equipment.\nStack, unstack, and move pallets, boxes, and other materials.\nMaintain accurate inventory records of materials received, stored, and shipped.\nConduct pre-operational inspections of PIVs to ensure they are in safe working condition.\nReport any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately.\nMaintain a clean and organized work environment.\nLevel III PIV’s: Driver can work at heights up to thirty (30) feet.
