{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"cf81bbe144e81af8cae703ff","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cf81bbe144e81af8cae703ff","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/cf81bbe144e81af8cae703ff","title":"Post Forge Worker","description":"Forge Resources Group is a leader in closed-die, near-net metal forgings and fabricated assemblies serving diverse industries including aerospace, mining/drilling, railroad, shipbuilding, off-road/ag, and other heavy equipment manufacturers.\nWe are seeking a someone to work in our Post Forge Department, inspecting and cleaning parts, preparing shipments.\nEXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:\nAbility to read measuring tools and equipment\nAbility to accurately document data\nAdvanced computer skills preferred to include Microsoft Suite\nExperience grinding with handheld grinders and bench grinders preferred\nPrevious forklift experience preferred\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAbility to successfully interact within all organizational levels\nSelf-starter to see projects through completion\nExperience organizing physical inventory on the floor as well as in an ERP system\nTYPICAL DUTIES:\nInspecting parts using a variety of measuring tools and gages\nGrinding/deburring parts with handheld grinders and bench grinders\nCoining parts\nCleaning/packing parts\nUnloading/loading trucks with forklift\nPrepare shipments according to the shipping plan\nPrepare shipping documents and certification packets\nCreate customer shipping labels\nCreate and save Certificates of Compliance\nArrange trucks for shipments\nForward shipping batches to Accounting\nObtain purchase orders for outsourced services\nPerform data collection on outsourced services activity\nReceiving on outsourced PO’s\nInspection on received parts\nSave/manage certifications for outsourced services\nForward A/P to Accounting\nOperating the following equipment:\nScale\nShotblast\nForklift\nCoin Press\nComputer\nPerform other duties as assigned\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:\n· Continuous Standing\n· Frequent unassisted lifting up to 40 pounds\n· Frequent grasping and gripping with both hands\n· Frequent pushing/pulling/twisting/turning with upper body while holding parts\n· Occasional unassisted lifting over 40 pounds\nForge Resources Group is a Drug-Free Workplace.
